We celebrated our 100th day of school last Thursday by dressing up like we were 100 years old. My kids were cracking me up ALL day! Some came in the classroom acting like they didn't have their teeth in, so they were talking funny. I had a few that went all out and played the part perfectly all day long. One of my girls was bent over on her cane anytime we went anywhere...even when we said the Pledge of Allegiance! SO FUNNY! We spent the whole day doing 100th day activities, and I'm pretty sure they all had a blast. I know I did! =)
My 100 year old kindergarteners! |
Taking our teeth out!! Haha! |
We spent the morning making our 100th day hats and painting our sign.
Grab a freebie for your own hats by clicking the picture below!
Our sign turned out so cute and colorful! They did a super job.
We had a very yummy 100th day trail mix, thanks to the donations from our wonderful parents. Then we completed our 100th day booklet that contained many fun writing prompts about 100.
I thought this one was clever..."I would not want 100 kids." Haha, me either buddy!! :-P |
Finally, we made our very own portrait of what we would look like when we are 100 years old. They turned out super cute! It's so fun and exciting to see their creativity. I just love it!
Here are Mr. & Mrs. Berns at 100 years old! My students came up with the "cool" part which I thought was pretty cute. =)
They are proudly posted out in our hallway! |
Grab your own sentence starter for your portraits by clicking on the picture below.
Here are a few of my favorites! I love their sentences!
"When I am 100 years old, I will be living at Valley View." - this is an assisted living place in town! ;) |
"When I am 100 years old, I will be cool!" - I love his tie! |
"When I am 100 years old, I will be an old, old gramma!" - too cute! |
"When I am 100 years old, I will have grand kids!" - look at those eyebrows :) |
"When I am 100 years old, I will make a shake." - Haha, I love it! :) |
What a fun day! I hope you enjoyed the freebies and if you liked any other ideas you saw, you might want to check out my "Let's Celebrate 100 Days of School" pack on my TpT store.
